Shortly after release of the new patch, Dead by Daylight has to deactivate many content. We reveal what s going on in the only true killer game again.
It is now the sad tradition at Dead by Daylight that new patches almost always deal with problem. No sooner was the new surviving Mikaela Reid in the game, since a whole lot had to be deactivated. A total of 5 maps and even a Perk had to be deactivated, as there were sudden bugs and there were problems.
Which content has been deactivated? A total of 5 different objects were temporarily deactivated. They are provided in the game with a message that they can not currently be used.
A total of 4 different richs (5 maps) have been deactivated. These are:

The corresponding offerings, which ensure that these maps are played, can not be used as long as. But you can continue to collect from the blood networks.

The reason is pretty sure the Boon Perks , of which Mikaela Reid has two different. On the above cards there are Totem spawnspots that killers can not reach. If a survivor blesses the appropriate Totems, then the killer simply can not do anything about it.
This is mainly because the killer has a larger hitbox. He can not look into some small corners, which can visit survivors. These few missing centimeters already ensure that the totems can not be eliminated by the killer.
Why was a circle of healing deactivated? Also discussed on the deactivation of this perks was discussed. Some on Twitter suspect that the killers would have blasted too much and the PERK was disabled. But that should not be the case.
The actual reason seems to be that the PERK could worries for disconnects. Some survivors report that they healed themselves in the circle of healing and suddenly separated from the game at the end of the healing. That could probably happen if the killer destroyed the totem, while a survivor was just healing.

When are the locked things come back? That s not clear yet. According to our own statements, the developer behavior is currently working on a hotfix. It can be assumed that at least Mikaelas Perk is reactivated in the next few days. Whether the revision of the maps is synonymous so fast or these remain locked the whole Halloween event, which remains probably still to be seen.
